    • How can I check if I am actually contracting with a recognized Insurance Agent in Spain?

      The first thing you should do is request a formal quote from the insurance company, including your date of birth, the coverage period, and the name of the insurance broker. Then, you can visit the website of the Spanish Directorate General of Insurance, Funds and Pensions (https://www.dgsfp.mineco.es) and look for the broker registry. There you can search by the agent's name, tax identification number (CIF/NIF), or province. Make sure you are contracting with a legitimate agent and that payment is made directly to the insurance company, not to an insurance agent.

    • How can I purchase insurance?
